NVCOP is a collaboration between Oundle
International Festival and five north-east
Northamptonshire parish churches: Oundle,
Stoke Doyle, Tansor, Thurning and Warmington.
The organisation has been formed to
raise funds to provide or restore high
quality pipe organs in the five churches,
with the purpose of:
-
providing sufficient fine organs
to sustain and extend the internationally
recognised and unique work done
by Oundle International Festival’s
Summer Schools in educating young
organists, many of whom go on to
become professional performers;
-
meeting the churches’ need
for fine instruments to enhance
worship and public concerts;
-
winning new audiences for organ
music;
-
expanding the provision of quality
music-making in an under-provisioned
rural area.
