Celebrating his 70th birthday, doyen of the organ world, SIMON PRESTON, will make a very
special appearance
on Sunday 6 July, featuring that most famous of all organ works Bach’s Toccata & Fugue
in D minor (other Bach too)
plus effervescent movements by Messiaen, which sound so exciting on the classic
Harrison organ at Ely.
The atmospheric and dramatic setting of Ely Cathedral forms the backdrop for what is
