The Gentlemen of St John's are considered to be one of the freshest and most exciting consorts of young male singers on the concert platform today.
Formed by the Choral Scholars of the renowned Choir of St John's College, Cambridge, The Gents have a unique and adaptable blended sound, which lends itself equally well to early ecclesiastical music as it does to part songs, folksongs and more modern close harmony.
Their programme this evening is likely to include music by Tallis, Poulenc, VaughanWilliams, The Beach Boys and The Beatles.
