The Ukulele Orchestra
of Great Britain, seen and heard across
the globe, is provocative, entertaining
and inspiring. Their shows combine
music, humour and intelligence with
the ridiculous. Using a menagerie
of voices and cheap instruments, the
band successfully mixes highbrow with
lowbrow to appeal to an astonishingly
broad audience.

Jools Holland's Hootenanny to Blue
Peter and Richard & Judy, they
bring a hilarious style that is all
their own. Consummate singers and strummers,
they perform anything from Frank Sinatra’s
Fly Me to the Moon to Hotel California
by the Eagles, taking in a Handel air
along the way. It’s a ‘Foot-Stomping
Obituary of Rock-n-Roll’ – and
very funny!
