original material and arrangements
alongside fresh interpretations of

Mole
is bored with spring-cleaning and
yearns for adventure. Ratty likes
messing about in boats, Badger wants
a quiet life. Toad likes - well anything
that’s extravagant really:
big houses, gypsy caravans, trains,
food, and very very VERY fast cars...
Four
very different animals become firm
friends and enjoy a summer filled
with adventure - and, in Toad’s
case, vehicular mayhem, incarceration,
legal trial, escape, cross-dressing,
bankruptcy and an invasion of his
ancestral pile. International award-winning
professional theatre company Illyria
returns with Kenneth Grahame’s
much-loved classic. This production
will be a treat for everyone aged
5 and over, and features a very loud
Toad in a REAL car!
The
performance will finish at approximately
8.20pm. Bring chairs or rugs, no
seating provided. Come early, bring
a picnic and enjoy the idyllic setting.
Bar and coffee available.

to give us two contrasting programmes,
this evening celebrating composers
from Bach to Piazolla, and tomorrow
