Building on the success of previous Oundle On Show weekends, this year visitors to our beautiful market town have the chance to enjoy musical performances, open gardens, an exhibition of regional artists, culminating, once again, in a highly entertaining concert by the Rusty Players of Oundle, followed by Oundle’s Big Afternoon Tea! The full schedule will be published on our website and in a leaflet in early June but you can expect a feast for the senses!
Saturday 11 July
The Rusty Strings of Oundle and Callander
4.30pm St Peter's Church
Following a hugely successful collaboration in May last year when the Rusty Strings of Oundle joined forces in the Trossachs with the Rusty Strings of Callander, we are delighted to welcome the Callander Rusties to Oundle for what promises to be an equally exciting concert. The twin Rusties are joined by soloist Caroline Sparey whose distinguished career has seen her work with many groups at home and abroad including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Peterborough Opera has been going from strength to strength under its Music Director, Kate Wishart. She and members of the company present a thrilling selection of operatic gems to whet your appetite for Sunday lunch!
Oundle Gilbert & Sullivan Players - Trial by Jury

Oundle G & S Players annual productions are always eagerly awaited and enormous fun. As an extra treat this year, they present two performances of Gilbert and Sullivan’s miniature masterpiece that is Trial by July. A case of breach of promise of marriage and only 30 minutes long, it is a hilarious satire on the English legal system.

Oundle’s own legendary orchestra celebrates its 10th anniversary with a programme featuring British music and many favourites of the Proms including Elgar’s Pomp & Circumstance March No 1 and Parry’s Jerusalem. Come and join in the fun!

The Oundle Artists

A wonderful show of contemporary art produced by a group of artists living and working in and around Oundle. Some of our popular and well established artists will be joined this year by new exciting artists exhibiting in the Yarrow Gallery for the first time. Through their work the artists reflect their inspirational ideas using colour, shape and form, in a variety of styles ranging from representational to abstract art forms. A large range of media will also be represented such as textile, paint, clay and silver.
